The Museum offers visitors a free audio tour in six different languages, has a Gift Store on-site, a WWII themed Laniakea Café, that offers fresh food, wine & beer, and a virtual-interactive flight simulator where visitors are able to take part in a virtual dogfight over Guadalcanal. There are also themed exhibits such as the “MiG Alley” Korean War Exhibit, “Amelia Earhart in Hawaii” photo exhibit, a working 1940’s Restoration Shop, and a celebration of commercial aviation in the Pacific-the Pan Am Exhibit. Instead of reverting to isolationism, the U.S geared up for total war and Japans fate was sealed. The museum’s 48 aircraft include an actual Japanese Zero and a Stearman N2S-3 that was once piloted by President George H.W. After experiencing a 12-minute film filled with real footage of the events that took place on that fateful day – December 7th, 1941, visitors to the Hangars that reside on Ford Island, a former Naval Air Station and National Historic Landmark, are able to walk among authentic military aircraft used during WWII.
